Code Of Practice
The treatments are carried out in a clean professional environment.
All new clients have a brief consultation with the therapist before treatment and discuss the following:
1. Relevant medical and health history
2. Motivation for wanting the treatment
3. Any sexual issues
4. Any current medication
5. Skin allergies
6. Expectations and concerns of treatment
7. Fees
Massage involves making contact with people and listening and caring. The therapists ensure a professional relationship with each client, as establishing a professional relationship will allow the individual to feel free to discuss any personal or medical problems, if they choose to do so. This information will help the therapist to administer the most appropriate treatment to the client. A strict code of confidence is operated within the M33 organisation. As massage involves touch, sometimes intimate touch. All therapists act professionally when carrying out the treatment to give assurance and not cause embarrassment to their client.
